Title:

Curing Journey

About:

My storyboards aim to capture the essence of a child's mind, where the bizarre and whimsical coexist with a raw, unfiltered sense of creativity.

Identity spot that explores the concept: journey

This narrative starts with a child experiencing a painful fall. The kid then spits onto the wound to see if it can soothe the pain. The initial discomfort is soon joined by a unique companion: a spit-turned-squishy friend. Initially, this friend hugging the wound only adds to the child's distress, leading to an impulsive action — the child flicks the spit-friend away. This action inadvertently leads to the spit-friend landing on a flower and nurturing it, as the spit-friend gives its last essence to it before vanishing. Filled with remorse, the child uses the flower as a symbolic bandage. The physical pain lingers, but the heart feels lighter.

Process:

Storyboard and Thought Process:
I want this story to be a child’s journey from injury to healing emotionally, underpinned by the power of a child’s imagination.

Treatment:
I want to create a comforting atmosphere and evoke strong emotions through minimalism, emphasizing the art of space.
